A few years ago, the Head of Talent at a Fortune 500 company stopped me in the hallway.

She said, “You’re excellent at your job, and we don’t want to lose you… but I found your TikTok. You’re clever, strategic, and so creative. Why aren’t you doing more with that?”

It caught me off guard, but it also lit something up.

That moment made me realize that the parts of myself I treated as “just for fun” were actually powerful skills.
